C.H. Hanson Hosts March Community Food Drive in Naperville
At C.H. Hanson, supporting the communities where we live and work has long been an important part of our commitment to the people and places we serve.
This year, as we celebrate 160 years of C.H. Hanson, we are reflecting on the values that have guided our company for generations, including the importance of giving back and extending grace.
To help support individuals and families across Naperville, Aurora, and the greater Chicagoland region, we are hosting a Community Food Drive throughout the month of March at our Naperville headquarters.

Why Community Food Drives Matter
Food insecurity continues to affect families across our communities. Local food drives help neighborhood food pantries maintain reliable supplies of essential items and respond to growing needs.
By collecting donations at our Naperville facility, the C.H. Hanson team can help organize items and ensure they meet pantry guidelines before delivering them to Loaves & Fishes Community Services.
Most Needed Donations
Our community needs new, unopened, and not expired nutritious, shelf-stable foods and everyday household essentials, including:
- Canned proteins such as tuna, chicken, and salmon
- Canned vegetables and fruit
- Pasta and pasta sauce
- Rice, grains, and oatmeal
- Peanut butter
- Whole grain cereals
- Personal care items such as toothpaste, shampoo, deodorant, and other hygiene products
How to Participate
Everyone across Naperville, Aurora, and the surrounding Chicagoland area is welcome to participate by dropping off donations at our lobby throughout the month.
For anyone outside the immediate area who would still like to support the effort, donations can also be made through the Loaves & Fishes Virtual Food Drive, which allows supporters to contribute online anytime.
Continuing a 160-Year Tradition of Community Support

At the same time, we recognize the importance of giving back to the communities that have supported us throughout our 160 years.
