Hanson Helps™ Team Joins Forces with Rise Against Hunger® to Combat Global Hunger

On Thursday, June 20th, the Hanson Helps Team once again partnered with Rise Against Hunger to make a significant impact on lives around the world by hosting a meal packing event at C.H. Hanson®. Our goal is ambitious but achievable: package 10,000 meals in a single day.

The Mission Behind Rise Against Hunger

Rise Against Hunger is dedicated to ending hunger globally by empowering communities, nourishing lives, and responding to emergencies. This organization relies on the hard work of meal packaging volunteers to produce millions of nutritious meals each year. These meals are distributed to partners in various countries, who use their local expertise to tackle the root causes and effects of hunger.

The Impact of Meal Distribution

The meals distributed by Rise Against Hunger serve multiple purposes. They are a tool for promoting education by ensuring students have the nutrition they need to succeed academically.
