A Very Merry Christmas From C.H. Hanson

Last year, the holiday season was filled with hope and joy. Little did anyone know the challenges that 2020 would bring. Nevertheless, let’s remember that “you only grow from challenges.” Even in the darkest times, there’s a light at the end of the tunnel, and we’ll make it through.

In the midst of lockdowns, masks, social distancing, and every other method devised to reduce sickness, goodness still abounds if you look in the right places. At C.H. Hanson, we still believe in the good of mankind, in working hard and making a difference with our products, services, and community outreach.

Everyone touts “our employees make the difference,” but fewer and fewer employers can say, “I have family that works here too,” or, “he’s been with the company over 30 years.” At C.H. Hanson we see our company employees as an extension of the C.H. Hanson family. Hanson is privately held and managed by the 4th and 5th generation Hanson family members. Very few companies can say they have been family owned since the civil war era.

The point of this is all of us at C.H. Hanson want to sincerely wish you and your family a truly special Christmas. We have faced many trials this year, and some have even lost family members in the midst of a country-wide sickness. Our hearts go out to you. We want you to know we understand the pain and uncertainty this year, and we’ve felt its losses. Even so, there have been births, weddings, engagements, and other life-enriching events – all of which we are so grateful for.

So as we go into this year’s holiday season, let’s look to the light at the end of the tunnel and love one another in this period of life. Be kind to your neighbor, have faith, and remember that compassion, forgiveness, and empathy can change the world! Let’s all be a light to someone who needs a bit of love.
